Course Description

Join biologist and nature photographer Jack Shouba for an outing to Bliss Woods in Sugar Grove, Illinois. Bliss Woods teems with native wildflowers in the spring. Begin the morning with a walk through the woods, spotting the array of ephemeral flowers and learning to identify them. After a break for lunch, get tips on how to best capture wildflowers with your lens, and spend time shooting under the guidance of your instructor. This class is great for photographers looking to brush up on their ID skills, or for naturalists looking to improve their photography.

Notes: Held outdoors. Bring a sack lunch and beverage. Dress for the weather; class runs rain or shine. Limit 15
