Course Description

Discover the names of the wildflowers covering the prairie and forest floor in fall. Work with an expert botanist to learn the names and characteristics of native and introduced plants flowering in the woodlands, prairies, wetlands, and other areas of the Arboretum.

Instructor: Scott Kobal, plant ecologist, Forest Preserve District of DuPage County
Notes: Held indoors and outdoors. Please dress to be outdoors, including footwear for walking on chipped and dirt trails. Limit 18.
Supplies: Please bring a water bottle and materials for writing in the field. A hand lens and your favorite field guide will come in handy.
