The end of the gardening season is the best time to prep for a successful season next year. Learn to put your garden to bed, how to get the most of this year's harvest, and the steps you can take this fall to be poised for takeoff next spring. The class will cover containers, perennials, trees, shrubs, and edibles, as well as techniques such as mulching, composting, soil testing, planning, fall watering, soil preparation, and planning for winter pruning. After some time in the classroom, take a walk outdoors to see how the Arboretum gets its gardens ready for fall and winter.
Notes: Held indoors and outdoors. Limit 20
