Learn about the benefits of herbs and spices and how to infuse them into salves, tonics and tisanes, and an invigorating and delicious beverage called a shrub. Discuss the benefits of local honey and sample different delectable varieties. Find out which herbal remedies are known to positively impact your health.
Sample local honey, teas, tisanes, vinegar shrubs, and salves. Make your own vinegar shrub infusion and a infused salve that will soothe sore muscles, and take home recipes for all items discussed in class.
