Fees and Registration
Capture nature in colored pencil. Discover how colors impact each other and the viewer. Learn how to see color in a specimen and recreate it on paper. Add to your sketchbook and finish several colored pencil drawings.
This is the fourth class in the Arboretum’s Nature Artist: Foundational Skills pathway.
"Kimberly Mullarkey has an MFA in painting and drawing. She is interested in different mediums, but her subject matter is always nature. Kimberly has taught at The Morton Arboretum since 1997 and also teaches at the College of DuPage.
- Notes: Held indoors. Limit 15
- Prerequisite: Begin to Draw Nature, Nature Drawing II, and Nature in Graphite--or equivalent experience working in pencils required.
- Supplies: A set of colored pencils will be required, details will be sent to registrants. Supplies available to borrow if you do not wish to purchase your own, courtesy of the Nature Artists’ Guild.
