Course Description

Learn how to identify the sparrows found along woodland edges, wetlands, and grasslands. Some of the more difficult to find species such as Nelson's sharp-tailed sparrow, LeConte's sparrow and Harris' sparrow will be sought as you learn about habitat preferences and timing of migration.

Notes: This class meets both indoors and outdoors; please dress to be outdoors on Sunday. This class includes walking on trails and uneven terrain. Limit 12
Supplies: Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle, binoculars, and field guides.
Driving directions: Driving directions for the Sunday field session will be provided in class
