Course Description

A painting of a creek and trees in summer.Utilize watercolor to prepare a preliminary underpainting for your outdoor painting
studies. Join returning artist Laverne Bohlin and learn to apply watercolor to represent
composition, shapes and light and dark values in your subject matter. Then apply soft
pastel to complete the piece. Class will be held both indoors and outdoors.


Instructor: Laverne Bohlin, freelance artist
Notes: Class will take place mostly outdoors. Some drawing experience required. Bring a sack lunch. Registration closes on August 30, 2018. Limit 16
