Illumination will take place late November 2020 through early January 2021. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, October 1, 2020.

See trees in a different light at Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum. You'll be surrounded by color as you walk a one-mile paved path amid interactive lighting effects that highlight the beauty of trees in winter. Enjoy seasonal music, marvel at ever-changing, interactive lighting designs, and warm up by a crackling fire with a cozy drink or roast marshmallows for s’mores.

This one of-a-kind interactive spectacle of color, light, and sound will awe and delight visitors with returning favorites and all-new features, including Tree Fascination-a brilliant digital projection of immersive color and pattern on a grove of eastern white and scots pine trees. Hug a tree to see how it responds, immerse yourself in stars as you walk through a magical tree grove, and watch multicolored lights dance to music. Illumination will show you the many gifts of trees including their natural beauty, peace and calm, homes for wildlife, and the very air we breathe.
