Classroom items for loan

Discovery Bins

The Morton Arboretum has developed free loan resources for teachers to check out and implement in their classroom instruction. Each bin contains materials, tools and lessons to bring the new NGSS standards alive in your classroom. Bins are organized by grade-level and are aligned with our current field trip offerings. Check out a bin, before or after your trip to extend your students' learning. These bins are available on a loaning basis and can be borrowed for up to 2 weeks at a time.

REGISTER NOW to reserve 1 of our 9 bin types. Limitations apply.

PLEASE NOTE: Out of an abundance of caution regarding the COVID-19 virus and due to the nature of our hands-on lending resources, the IDNR and Morton Arboretum teacher checkout bins are not available to loan at this time. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and let you know as soon as possible when you are able to return or checkout these lending resources again.
