Autumn has arrived at The Morton Arboretum. Recent cool nights and bright sunny days have begun to develop fall colors throughout the Arboretum grounds.
The Morton Arboretum’s grounds are teeming with bountiful color and life, as birds, butterflies, and bees circle around the nourishment of red buckeye, dotted hawthorn, and the much-loved peony.
The Morton Arboretum is bursting with color and carpeted in bright green, even as temperatures continue to fluctuate wildly and rainstorms have been flooding many counties in the region.
Even while the grounds remain closed until the end of May, the trees and fields continue their transformations unabated as everything comes into vivid bloom.
Despite recent shifts in temperature, spring has truly sprung at the Arboretum, filling the landscape with increasingly lush blooms and beautiful colors.
