Announcing the release of “Planted: Finding Your Roots in STEM Careers,” a podcast designed to give STEM-focused high school or early college students an introduction to the wide variety of environmentally-focused career paths available to them.
The Morton Arboretum announces a new name for its highly regarded Woodland Stewardship Program: the Natural Areas Conservation Training (N-ACT) Program. The new name is meant to more closely underscore the program’s focus on all types of natural areas found in the region, including wetlands, prairies, woodlands and other natural habitats. The program will offer increased flexiblity to participants.
